Jordan Davis
When designing this spread, I wanted to do so in a way that resembled Jordan's playing style: big, bold, and flashy. Using photos from GoFlashWIn, a website that I have established a connection with, I made a unique design highlighting the humble athlete.
Me Before You
Since the review featured in this design was short, I needed to find a way to fill in white space and still make the page look attractive. I picked the color scheme to match the book cover, and it turned into one of the stronger designs of our issue.
Be A Fan 5K
This design will be included in our next issue of The Renaissance. I utilized a pulled quote on the right side of the page, and also designed the Be A Fan logo that is seen on the left side above the picture.
Election 2016
A Presidential Election is an important event for our country, so it was crucial that it was included in our issue. I incorporated a graphic, pulled quote, and a story about Dutch Fork students voting, to the design to cover the significant event.
